CLP's Got Talent!

CLP's Got Talent!

We need your talent on stage May 6th!

We’re getting ready for Tacos & Talent Night on Wednesday, May 6, and we’re looking for members of our church family to step up and share their talents.

Music, singing, instruments, comedy, spoken word, storytelling, skits—if you have something to offer, we’d like to include you.

This night is more than entertainment. It’s a fundraiser for our youth programming like Co-Mission Camp, where our students spend a week serving local ministries, growing in their faith, and learning what it means to live as servant leaders. Your participation helps create an engaging and joy-filled evening that directly supports that mission.

You don’t have to be polished—just willing.

Mike Martello is our new Facilities Manager

We are delighted to share that our part-time facilities team member, Mike Martello, has been hired as our full-time Facilities Manager! Mike brings a servant’s heart, strong work ethic, practical skill, and a ministry-minded approach to this role, seeing facilities not simply as maintenance, but as supporting the mission and hospitality of the church. We are grateful to welcome him in this expanded role.

Join the Facilities Team!
We are also looking for additional team members to assist with Sunday and event coverage (approximately 12–20 hours per month, depending on facility needs). If you enjoy serving behind the scenes and helping create welcoming spaces for ministry, we’d love to talk with you.

For more information, contact Mike Martello at facilities@clp.church.

Grow, Serve, and Engage! July 13-17

Co-Mission Camp is a free, week-long opportunity for 5th-12th graders to be the hands and feet of Christ through service and mission work in our community. This camp allows youth to experience what it means to serve with purpose, grow in faith, and lead with love. Throughout the week, we will work hard, serve joyfully, and have tons of fun! Each day will begin with a devotion to set our focus and end with reflection time to process what we've learned and experienced.

Schedule for the Week:

  • Monday: What does it mean to be a servant leader? We'll explore mission-minded leadership and prepare for the week ahead.
  • Tuesday: Feed My Starving Children – We’ll travel together by bus to pack meals for children in need.
  • Wednesday: Stations of Service Day – A full day of hands-on service supporting multiple local and international organizations.
  • Thursday: St. Mary's Food Bank – We’ll work together to help fight hunger in our community.
  • Friday: Celebration Day! We'll wrap up the week celebrating all we've accomplished together! We'll finalize our camp video, gather for worship, and conclude camp with pizza and a party!

Important Information:

  • Who: Students entering 5th-12th grade
  • Cost: FREE!
  • Waivers: Additional forms will be emailed on July 1 or can be completed in person during Monday’s registration.
