Blue Star Memorial Marker Dedication - Litchfield Square Park

This past Saturday May 17th Reverend Kris was honored to be a part of the Blue Star Memorial Marker dedication at the Litchfield Square Park.  The dedication was to honor all the brave men and women who gave their best when they were called upon to serve and protect our country.

The Blue Star Memorial program began in 1944 by a New Jersey Garden Club who planted 8,000 dogwood trees as a living memorial to WWII veterans.  In 1945, the National Council of the State Garden Clubs adopted the program and began a Blue Star Highway System across the United States, which eventually included Alaska and Hawaii.  In 1951, the mission was enlarged to include all men and women who had served, were serving or would serve in the United States Armed Forces.

True North VBS

Monday, June 9 - Friday, June 13, 2025

You're invited to True North VBS at The Church at Litchfield Park! This free event is open to children ages five through incoming fourth graders and will take place from 6:00 to 8:00 PM each evening from June 9-13.

This summer, kids will embark on the ultimate Alaskan adventure, where the northern lights shine over majestic mountains, racing rivers, and sparkling glaciers. As they trek the tundra, they’ll discover how easy it is to lose sight of truth in today’s wild world. Through engaging Bible lessons, fun activities, music, and hands-on adventures, kids will learn that Jesus is our faithful friend and guiding light. True North VBS will help them build a deeper connection with Him, reminding them that He is always trustworthy and true.

Co-Mission Camp: Grow, Serve, Engage!

Co-Mission Camp is a free, week-long opportunity for 5th-12th graders to be the hands and feet of Christ through service and mission work in our community. This camp allows youth to experience what it means to serve with purpose, grow in faith, and lead with love.

Throughout the week, we will work hard, serve joyfully, and have tons of fun! Each day will begin with a devotion to set our focus and end with reflection time to process what we've learned and experienced.

Schedule for the Week:

  • Monday: What does it mean to be a servant leader? We'll explore mission-minded leadership and prepare for the week ahead.
  • Tuesday: Feed My Starving Children – We’ll travel together by bus to pack meals for children in need.
  • Wednesday: Stations of Service Day – A full day of hands-on service supporting multiple local and international organizations.
  • Thursday: St. Mary's Food Bank – We’ll work together to help fight hunger in our community.
  • Friday: Celebration Day! We'll wrap up the week with pizza, water games, and fun activities to celebrate all we've accomplished together.

Important Information:

  • Who: Students entering 5th-12th grade
  • Cost: FREE!
  • Waivers: Additional forms will be emailed on July 1 or can be completed in person during Monday’s registration.

Join us for a transformative week of service, faith, and fun!

Spring Women@CLP Lunch - Saturday, May 31, 2025

You’re Invited!

Join us for a special afternoon of lunch and Christian fellowship on Friday, May 31 at 11:00 AM as we explore what it means to be a Well-Watered Woman. Inspired by Gretchen Saffles’ book The Well-Watered Woman, this gathering is all about leaning into who God calls us to be—rooted, nourished, and thriving in Him.

Haven’t read the book? No problem! This isn’t a book club meeting—it’s an open invitation to all women who long for connection, encouragement, and sisterhood. Whether you’ve read every page, skimmed the cover, or just love a good lunch with great company, you are welcome here!

Let’s come together, share stories, laughter, and lean into God’s heart for us as women.

RSVP below—we can’t wait to spend this time with you!
