Women@CLP Gather for an Afternoon of Fellowship and Encouragement
“Abide in me, and I in you.” — John 15:4
What a wonderful afternoon we shared! On Saturday, August 29, 64 women of The Church at Litchfield Park gathered for the Women@CLP Abide Gathering—an afternoon filled with laughter, delicious food, meaningful conversations, and plenty of opportunities to connect.
As we prepare to say goodbye to summer and step into a new ministry season, it was a gift to slow down, spend time together, and remember God’s faithfulness. Women had the opportunity to reconnect with familiar faces, meet someone new, and enjoy the simple joy of being together.
Our time together was centered around the theme of abiding in Christ. In the midst of busy schedules and all that comes with a new season, John 15:4 reminds us of where our strength comes from: “Abide in me, and I in you.” What a wonderful reminder as we look ahead to all God has in store for us this fall!
A big thank you to everyone who helped make the afternoon so special! From the delicious food to the warm welcome and thoughtful conversations, it was a beautiful reminder of what makes our church community so special.
