Engaging in God's Mission and Serving in Christ's Love

This school year is off to an exciting start for the Homeless Youth Connection (HYC)! Several of their youth have transitioned to college—attending NAU, U of A, ASU, and even the University of Missouri. Each freshman received a move-in kit filled with essentials to help them begin this new chapter with dignity and hope. Last year alone, HYC served 705 youth, and with more referrals coming in and our community growing, the need is greater than ever. Even with decreased federal funding, HYC has remained faithful in providing services without cutting programs.

As they prepare for their Holly Jolly Tamale fundraiser and anticipate serving even more youth this year, let’s lift them in prayer and look for ways to give generously. CLP, we have the privilege of standing in the gap—supporting youth experiencing homelessness, celebrating their successes, and covering them in prayer as they step into a brighter future.
